Your job search stays on your computer.
Here is exactly what stays local, what connects out and why, and what any optional AI provider sees. No surprises.

What stays on your computer
Your roles, keywords, companies, search results and history, résumés, profile answers, drafts, generated documents, application records, tracker, and local AI prompts are stored in your RoleMole workspace on your computer. RoleMole does not operate a central account database for that workspace.
When RoleMole connects outside your computer
- Searches contact the public employer or agency hiring sources you selected.
- Stripe processes checkout, payment, tax, receipts, contact details, and subscription management.
- The RoleMole licensing service processes the purchase email, plan and license status, pseudonymous computer-seat information, activation state, and necessary timestamps.
- Download and update services receive ordinary network requests needed to deliver and verify releases.
- Employer application pages receive only the information you choose to submit to that employer.
- Optional Claude Code, Codex, and USAJOBS connections operate under the provider or account you choose.
- Support receives the email, message, and attachments you choose to send.
Website measurement
RoleMole uses Cloudflare Web Analytics for aggregate page traffic and performance. It does not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking, session replay, or visitor profiles. A small allowlist of first-party actions may be counted by day and page, such as starting the fictional demo or choosing a checkout button. Those counters do not store email addresses, license keys, device identifiers, search choices, demo results, calculator inputs, résumés, or job-search content.
Phone Companion
Phone Companion is optional and begins only after you create a one-use pairing link and approve the phone on your computer. Result, command, and résumé payloads are encrypted between the paired devices. Cloudflare relays ciphertext and may process limited connection and security metadata needed to operate the relay. You can disconnect the phone at any time from either device.
Retention and control
You can export, reset, or delete scoped local data inside RoleMole. You can release licensed computer seats, revoke a paired phone, and disable optional connections. RoleMole keeps licensing, transaction-support, fraud-prevention, dispute, and security records only as reasonably needed to provide the product and meet legal obligations. Stripe, Cloudflare, email, and optional providers apply their own retention practices.
Children and launch territory
RoleMole is intended for adults age 18 or older and is initially offered to customers in the United States.
